Like you, I’ve attended many community meals, clothing swaps and farmers markets at Trinity Community Commons over the past several years.

What I realized early on is that TCC does incredible, tangible work supporting our neighbors in need — by connecting people with local resources, distributing emergency micro-grants, and providing weekly dinners.

But here’s the truth: I get just as much nourishment from this space. Because of the farmers market, I’m able to purchase fresh, healthy food within walking distance of my home. Because of the weekly meals, I feel known and seen, which has felt especially important in my first year after having a baby. I — and you — benefit from a community space dedicated to creating meaningful connections between neighbors.

Right now, TCC is raising $10,000 to turn the big front lawn into a place that literally nourishes the community — adding garden beds, farmers market stands, shaded areas for respite in the heat, and big tables for outdoor community meals.
